Leander Paes won his eighth men’s doubles Grand Slam title

Indian Player Leander Paes won his eighth men’s doubles Grand Slam title as he combined with Czech Republic's Radek Stepanek to win the US Open with a dominating 6-1, 6-3 victory over Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in the final on 8th September 2013.
The fourth seeded Indo-Czech pair took just 72 minutes in the Arthur Ashe stadium to win their second major title together — they had won the Australian Open in 2012. It was third US Open title for the 40-year-old Paes; he had won in 2006 with Martin Damm, and in 2009 with Lukas Dlouhy.
